I support Barack Obama for President And I’m urging anyone who cares to discuss it with me to vote for him also. This election is just too important to take the chance of getting it wrong.
Obama is a thoughtful, deliberate, and intelligent leader. He strikes me as a person who will make the effort to reach out to congress, and to leaders around the world to repair the damage that has been done to our democracy, and to begin to restore our standing in the world as people who believe in community and caring for others.
I want a leader who I can look up to and admire for the quality of his character and the sharpness of his wit. True strength lies in the ability to accept difficult challenges and meet them with an open mind. I’ve had enough of muscle power… I want brain power—and compassion—to show us the way.
