Another slow day in the office, and the urge to reclaim some of my faded painting skills sent me out to paint at the VanYprens home again.

This is a view looking across their brook to the neighbors farm, where they graze Scottish cattle. I only got so far with it before the sun had circled ’round to start shining directly in my eyes—not to mention changing the light in the painting. A little more planning for outings like this will be in order.
